The Aqara Door and Window Sensor P2 detects whether a door, window, cabinet, or similar opening is open or closed. It uses Matter over Thread, allowing compatible smart-home platforms to use its state in notifications and automations.

A compatible Thread border router and Matter controller may be required, depending on the smart-home platform.
